Faith continues to claim all the promises of God for believers that in Jesus Christ,the believer has eternal life. (John 3:16) It also has the promise of healing: "By whose stripes ye were healed". (Isa. 53). Faith believes in sanctification: "Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin, The believer therefore keeps himself from sin by the Lord's power and the wicked one touches him not.
Faith believes and claims victory over sickness as part of the redemptive plan of God, in His word that "These signs shall follow them that believe .... they shall lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover" (Mark 16:16-20). So, faith fights sickness with prayer to the end without bowing down to man-made drugs. This same faith goes on and on unto believing against death because Christ saith "Verily, verily I say unto you, if a man keeps my saying, HE SHALL NEVER SEE DEATH" (Jn. 8:51). Also He said "I am the ressurection and life, he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live! and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believeth thou this?" (Jn 11:25- 26). The goal of our faith, even eternal life, has IMMORTALITY with it, because Christ "HAS ABOLISHED DEATH, AND BROUGHT LIFE AND IMMORTALITY TO LIGHT THROUGH THE GOSPEL" (II Tim.1:10) This is faith! Christ spoke to that fruit tree and the tree withered the same day. He spoke to the wind on the sea; it obeyed Him. FAITH! (Mat.8:26). By faith Enoch walked with God and he was not, for God took him that he should not see death. FAITH OH FAITH! By faith Elisha made an Iron axe to swim on the water (II kings 6:6, Mk.11:23) FAITH OH FAITH! Even this same believing that "IF YE SHALL DECREE A THING IT SHALL BE DONE UNTO YOU BY MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN", saith the Lord. Faith is believing that God will do that for you if only you will decree it, when you are His child. Have you asked something without doubt once and He did not do it? Check yourself. (James 4:3). God is faithful forever to His word. Act your faith and believe. FAITH WITH ACTION IS BELIEVING. A brother was flying to London one time and the Pilot complained of Fog at London, hoping to avoid London for Manchester; the brother prayed and decreed that the fog should withdraw from the airport and it was done for him by the Lord. The pilot did not have to go to Manchester. Faith oh faith! A brother was not satisfied with the snow in Germany when he travelled there for some weeks; so the brother prayed and the snow was stopped for him till he left the country. OH FAITH! the same brother told brethren in Germany that after he left, snow could do its will unless some other brethren intervened. But it was reported that for two days after the brother left Germany, snow was a menace for the country. Yea, if only every believer will begin to act his/her faith and believe! God answereth prayers.Unto man was it given to "SUBDUE THE EARTH", which includes all elements (Gen. 1:27). Brethren, know your right and control things to the glory of the Lord. This same your brother in trials saith "ACT YOUR FAITH AND BELIEVE. FAITH OH FAITH! GOD LOVES IT, MEN DIED FOR IT. AMEN!"
