Faith Testimonies

...chapter Two.....

DIMENSIONS OF FAITH
"Verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed you shall say unto this mountain : remove hence to yonder place, it shall remove and nothing shall be impossible unto you" (Mat.17:20-21). Behold the believer must understand the concept of faith as having two dimensions of results. There is the faith that produces the desired blessful results and there is the faith that does not. Both dimensions of faith still require the same "damn the consequence" stedfastness. When I say faith that brings blessful results, I mean wherein God comes down to answer back, glorifying His name. Such is the faith of Shedrach, Meshach and Abednigo before the furnace of fire whom God delivered from the fiery fire; "upon whose body the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed nor the smell of fire had passed on them" (Dan.3:27). Yea, consider the faith of these Hebrew men; one notable thing is that they had known the ways of God in contrast to the wilderness fathers that had not known His ways and "they do always err in their hearts"(Heb.3:10). This is seen in their declaration before Nebuchadrezzar showing that they had decided to follow God and are even ready to die for it. See their desperation (Dan.3:16-18) as they answered and said to the King, "O Nebuchadrezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. IF IT BE SO, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand O King. BUT IF NOT, be it known unto thee, O King, that we will not serve thy gods nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up". Yea, anyone who must walk with God and please God must have faith and must know the ways of God that "WHAT PLEASETH HIM, THAT DOETH HE IN THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH, IN THE SEA AND IN ALL DEEP PLACES" (Psa. 135:6). To please the Lord you must confess and believe His almightiness to deliver and fear not to pass through the trial when He tarries to deliver. "..AND THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH" (Rev.12:11). Job said,"shall we receive good at the hand of God and shall we not receive evil?" (Job 2:10). Knowing that God created both good and evil, yet He loves us and wishes us no evil. He saith "Fear not .....when thou passeth through the waters I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire thou shalt not be burned: neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God ... thy saviour" (Isa. 43:13). God requires everyone that walk with Him to exercise faith "without which it is impossible to please Him" (Heb. 11:6). God will come down to deliver according to his will and preordination (Psa.115:3). The second dimensional result to faith is of those that glorified God by their death: "...others were tortured not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better ressurrection. And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea moreover, of bonds and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented (of whom the world was not worthy) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth" (Heb.11:35-38). Yea, the Lord Jesus Christ also was nailed to the cross -- He laid down His life to take it again by Himself. Stephen, one of the seven deacons was stoned to death in Jerusalem! James also, and many of the apostles; Paul was martyed in Rome (Babylon the great- Rev.17:5-6); they all glorified God by their death. They laid down their lives for their faith. Behold it is prophezied to reappear at the end of the age(Rev.12:17, 13:7), great persecution of saints! God shall come down to deliver any of His saints from the mouth of the sword or lion as He wills or foreordains! But if it be not so, brethren, IN YOUR PATIENCE POSSESS YE YOUR SOUL! Let us be like the former saints, desperate to follow Jesus "damning the consequence". AMEN.

These two dimensional results to faith still demand fearlessness, "damn- the-consequence" stedfastness to please the Lord and for these it was written: "THEY OVERCAME HIM (THE DRAGON) BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; AND THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH" (Rev.12:11).

Someone may say "how often does God come down to glorify His name by stopping death?" Behold He glorifies His name much more regularly by saving alive than with the death of the saints, for it is written "PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS" (Psa.116:15). He most often specially strengthens His saints if they are to go through the other dimensional result, as in the case of Stephen who instantly "saw the heavens opened and the son of man standing at the right hand of God" (Acts.7:56). And He told the church of smyrna beforehand: "Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life" (Rev.2:10).

Brethren, God will much more glorify His name for He has no pleasure in the death of him that dieth (Eze.18:23,33:11). But how many are exercising their faith nowadays? So, be challenged to act henceforth and damn- the-consequence. FEAR NOT saith the Lord "I am the ressurection and the life". Build your faith by prayer and fasting, and you shall not have to tempt the Lord anyway. In the next chapters you will know what tempting the Lord means. Once the thought of trying your power comes to your mind before exercising faith, then you are tempting the Lord. Therefore, THERE NEED TO BE A GENUINE NECESITY TO THE GLORY OF THE LORD AND IN NOTHING TO THE SATISFYING OF THE FLESH, BEFORE YOUR FAITH DECREE WILL BE QUICKLY VINDICATED BY THE LORD. (Joshua 10:12,Mat.14:23-25) AMEN.
