The Redemption of our body

"Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; who has saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel." (2Tim.1:8-10).

God did not plan for us to throw away this body. Someone may say "all the apostles are dead! How can you say that God wills to keep us alive from physical death?" That was the similar question asked the Lord Jesus in John 8:52, after he said "Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keep my saying, he shall never see death." The scriptures said "Enoch walked with God and God took him." The reason why God would take someone like Enoch away is because he so much walked with God and believed in this faith over death and has overcome the devil. Who else can kill him? Only God can! But since God does not kill people, God has to take him away; otherwise he will have been around for the past 5000 years. God prefers that immortal men should not be living on this planet till the end of time, so He took Enoch away; perhaps to another galaxy where such old people are. Else he will have been around till now, and may be lonely here since all of his peers were dead. The same thing occurs with Elijah the prophet.

Some people said God simply glorified them. Yes! However he has promised to glorify multitudes at this end of the age. You know, many of us believe in the rapture, that we are going to meet Jesus in the air without seeing death. (1Thes.4:16-17). "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." From that day forward, there shall be no more death for us that are alive till that day. We are going to enter eternity without first putting away this body. That is the immortality which we are preaching. But this does not just come, unless we have believed this faith against death. It is written" "The just shall live by faith". We have to walk with Jesus right from now and present before the Lord that we truly believe he has the power not only to keep us for one thousand years, but also for eternity with this body that will then be glorified. Don't ever think that the body which the Lord Jesus wore on earth is hanging somewhere in heaven's museum. No sir! It is the same body that is glorified. Some people said "why does God need their flesh and bone? Can't he simply vaporize it and give us new body?" Have you seen an incandescent bulb before? The filament of the bulb may look fragile and contemptible; but when electricity is passed through it, it glows and it becomes red-hot. Our body is like that filament. When we are connected to the Holy Ghost, we are connected to the electricity of God as it is written: "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly." (Prov.20:27). When the day comes, the Holy Ghost energizes us and our body particles simply glows supernaturally into immortal light waves (visible waves or invisible waves), and we shall be translated (raptured). This full redemption is what Christ has purchased back for us. When we glow white-hot, our body cannot be tormented anymore.

That is what the prophets have longed for. "AND NOT ONLY THEY, BUT OURSELVES ALSO WHICH HAVE THE FIRSTFRUITS OF THE SPIRIT. EVEN WE OURSELVES GROAN WITHIN OURSELVES, WAITING FOR THE ADOPTION, TO WIT, THE REDEMPTION OF OUR BODY." (Rom.8:23).

I have a testimony that made me to know that death is caused by devils. I was raised a Moslem. My daddy told me the story of when his elder brother was to die. His brother had been sick in hospital for months and had to be withdrawn from the hospital. Since they were moslems, my daddy suggested that they should visit one moslem Rabbi/healer in a distant city. Those moslem Rabbi or prophets are men who had gone deeper into spiritism in their own religion.

You must ralize that every religion has some spirits associated with them, whether Buddhism or Islam, or pure idol worship. They all associate with some spirits. Only Jesus brought the true light of God as he said in John 10 verse 8-9: "All they that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: By me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture." Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Only Jesus Christ brought the Holy Spirit of God. Other religions contact devils and religious demons. It is Jesus who owns and is inheriting this planet as seen in Daniel's vision (Dan.7:18-27: "the people of the saints of the Most High shall possess the kingdom for ever). This is because Jesus is the only way of salvation provided for men by God. (Acts.4:12 - "Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is none other name under heaven, given among men whereby we must be saved.") No wonder every religion has some conflict directly or indirectly with Jesus.

Sometime we think there is nothing to those religions, but you have to know that they dealt in spiritism and contacting of demons, but not the Holy Spirit. All of those religions are dealing with spirits which are "anti" to the kingdom of God.

My daddy was a little involved in his own religion, so he took his brother to this moslem prophet as the last resort. When they had their turn into this Seer's presence, after he looked into his divination, he told them "it was too late". He said they should have come earlier. He said some witches which were trying to kill my uncle had concluded the operation immediately they heard that he was coming to the Seer. He said he couldn't do anymore for my uncle. In fact, he rushed my uncle out his presence, saying he could die any moment from then. My uncle died on the trip back home (a distance of over 100 miles). Their moslem prophet could not do anything for them after death has taken its toll. Now let's compare and see what Jesus Christ did and you will see the difference.

What I'm trying to point out is the fact that Jesus can reverse anything because He is the Almighty God - manifested in the flesh! Becoming a child of Jesus also gives us rights among the principalities and powers of God, even as revealed by apostle Peter when he wrote: "Moreover, I will endeavor that ye may be able, after my decease, to have these things always in remembrance; For we have not followed a cunningly devised fable when we made known unto you the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty." (2Pet.1:15-16).

You see, that moslem prophet claimed to have power but he could not reverse my uncle's situation. The story can be compared to what happened in the bible in Luke 8:41-56. That was the story of Jairus' daughter who was dead before Christ could get to her at the request of the girl's father.

"There came a man named Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue. He had an only daughter that lay a dying".

He came to Jesus to ask the Lord to come to his house and heal his daughter. As Jesus was coming, the crowd thronged him. There was a long delay on the way. Remember, that was also the time when the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus' garment. But while Jesus stopped to talk to the woman that touched him with faith, word came from Jairus' house in verse 49 saying "thy daughter is dead, trouble not the master." When Jesus heard the report, he told Jairus, "Fear not; believe only and she shall be made whole." Jesus Christ reversed that!

Let's say some witches killed the girl like the moslem prophet said, and those witches thought they had to conclude the business quickly, before Jesus could get any chance to stop them, and they took the soul of the girl away; they even sent an errand to turn the master back from coming. However Jesus Christ reversed it, and the girl lived again, because Jesus is the Almighty God.

There are many other testimonies that made me to know that it is not the Father's will for men to die. Devils cause deaths. Let the few that is written here open your understanding and so resist the devils.

Yea "THE FATHER's WILL IS ALREADY WRITTEN IN THE SCRIPTURES!"
