Where is your faith – 7

We are talking about rapturing faith. Faith that gives salvation unto to the faith that will translate. You can obtain translative anointing as you hear, and do the exhortations believing these messages. "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him". (2Chr.16: 9).

This same faith of Christ can control elements. The Lord is above to make it happen. You have got to exercise your faith. I will give another testimony. Some of these testimonies have been documented in some of my literature. They happened just as I believed for. Somebody said how are we sure it was your prayer that caused the thing to happen? Could it have been coincidental? My answer is, "I don’t care." I believe that I prayed for something, and it happened just as I prayed. That’s what matters. If it was coincidence, thank God. I want it to be coincidence every time I pray. Praise the Lord. Skeptics have belittled the miracle at the Red Sea also. You don’t need to worry about how your prayer is answered, whether by coincidence or not, just get the desired result. Amen!

I was in Germany in 1978 December on a business trip with some coworkers. The snow was heavy and I didn’t like the snow a bit, coming from the tropical country. So I decreed and prayed that the snow should stop for the rest of the time I would be in the country. Just think about that, trying to stop snow in a country like Germany in the month of December. I was expected to leave the country December 24th. It seemed impossible doesn’t it? I was asking heaven to stop the snow until I would leave the country. Now I prayed this prayer in my first week in the country, and I was scheduled to be in the country for 6 weeks. After I got my answer, I told my coworkers, non-Christians, that I have commanded and there would be no more snow in the country until I leave. They were skeptical but they observed the event. Even when we traveled by bus from the south to the northern part of the country, it was observed that there was no snow during those days.

One of the evenings, I was invited to a church in Germany to preach. I gave the testimony to the congregation that, I was responsible for stopping the snow during those few weeks. I said also that after I am gone you folks could have your snow, unless another believer would like to stop it. Some of the congregation laughingly said, "we don’t want the snow either". Well, I told them to pray to stop it, otherwise when I am gone the snow would do its worst, it might come back with vengeance.

This faith of Christ can control elements. All we need to do is walk with Jesus. Then when occasion calls for it, ask Jesus to do it for you, because Christ is the head of all principality and power.

However the day I left the country was December 24th, and some of my coworkers stayed behind for Christmas in Germany. When they returned home, they gave me the report: the day after I left Germany, it was a stand-still all over the country due to the amount of snow which fell from the night of the 24th.

Yea, "for we have not followed cunningly devised fable, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty." (2 Pet.1: 16).

O that every believer will grow up to the level that we can take authority to control the earth elements and whatever we don’t want! Somebody said, why should I stop the snow; perhaps another person over there is praying for the snow? Let the Lord decide which prayer he will answer. And it is a small thing for the Lord to answer both prayers in city partitions. The Lord is still in control when we are using his name, and the Lord delights in his children learning to believe in his word and using the right he has apportioned to them.

Our faith can control nature. Christ has demonstrated this thing so that we may know that he is the head of all principality and power when the Lord Jesus commanded a fig tree, that it should not bear any more fruit forever. The same day the tree withered away. That proves to us that sons of God have the power to control anything on the earth. We must grow up to that stature of the Son of God. Could it be sun-flares, which trouble the earth? We, as sons of God, should be able to control the clouds or the sun-flares, or the ozone layers, by the authority in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. This same faith should be applied in all the spheres of life.

Christ said, "where is your faith?" (Lk.8: 25). The Apostles of the Lord, many of them being professional fishermen, were used to wrestling with the wind and the storm by rowing the boat. They forgot about faith and prayer when confronted by the storm on the lake. That is the problem of many believers in the world. God has got to knock off our mind many things, which we are used to, in order for the saints to connect into some spiritual things with God.

In latter series of this sermon, I will go into this some more. What are you used to of things of this life? That may be your hindrance in exercising your faith.

For example, look at the third world countries. When many people in those countries have problem of sickness, the hospitals and doctors are far away, and many times too costly for the average person. The people easily welcome free gift of deliverance and free gift of healing. When evangelists go to those countries to minister, you can understand why multitudes usually gather looking for miracles, because of their social background. Indeed, to the poor the gospel is preached. Now compare that to the rich countries like America, where many enjoy medical insurance, and insurance of every kind. They are mostly relying on the medical doctors. There was a time I talked to a Christian lady in America, who told me that she was to go for surgery because the doctor found something in her womb. I said why don’t we just believe God to remove the thing and let’s pray about it. We did. Even though we prayed, but she said, "well, she would still go to the doctor for the surgery because she wanted to use her insurance."

What has insurance got to do with it? You may have medical insurance, but suppose the doctor cut the body open and they couldn’t find the tumor? Insurance will pay alright, but the person will carry the pain of recovery. The point I am stressing is that the rich couldn’t believe for miracle because they have money to throw at the problem.

Where is your faith? Where are you applying your faith? This generation is like the rich that think God is only for the poor people. Believers who are inclined to trust in the man-made technological inventions or medical inventions rather than trust in applicable God-inspired spiritual solutions are saying the same thing like the rich who need not God. Where is your faith?

The rich fool has said, "go preach to the poor to have faith! We don’t need God here. We are rich, and have everything we need!" The believer, who takes the same attitude to faith, is no better. Here is the rebuke the Lord gave to the church of this Laodecian generation: "Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eye with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." (Rev.3: 17-18).

Our faith must seek to do things God’s way first. Say for example, you need to find out if a friend in another city is home so that you can pay him a visit. Should you just travel the many miles to find out he is not home? Or should you as a spiritual person ask the Lord? The gift of discernment by the Holy Ghost is called into action in this case. When you begin to exercise your faith for God to speak to you and to feel the mind of God, whether the trip is necessary or not; when you begin to exercise your senses like that, you will become spiritual. Apostle Paul wrote that "strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil." (Heb.5: 14). But consider now in this technological generation; the man-made setup has said you don’t need God. Just call by telephone and find out! Don’t get me wrong. I use the technology also, at least if you are reading this on the internet, the technology has brought it to you. However, WE MUST PUT EVERYTHING IN PERSPECTIVE! We must make room for our faith to be exercised in order to grow to the stature of the Son of God.

Do you now see how the amenities of this generation can remove faith or the need for faith from mankind? The rich in every generation were like that, seeing no need for God. Like I have preached in another sermon, there are always some few folks in every generation seeking after the Lord. Who are walking with God to please God, and are able to brush off the dust of pollution in the generation, by denying themselves of some pleasurable amenities to attain to the spiritual heights with God. You are called upon also to be one of them.

Let’s even suppose the modern amenities have removed the mind of men from seeking spiritual things of God, what about where the medical world has failed?

Yes, what about where the technology has not helped like stopping tornadoes, or hurricanes?

God has not failed, and the technology of God is much more powerful, much more potent. As for me, it still takes too long to travel from New York to Paris by the fastest airplane. But the technology of God will take one there in seconds, by the spiritual translation. This is why I follow after to know the Lord. We must grow up spiritually to tap into it. That is what faith is. Faith is tapping into the technology of God. Christ said, "ask and ye shall receive; seek, and ye shall find; knock and the door shall be opened unto you."

Amen!
