In
chapter 20 we saw what would be the end of Lucifer. Only those names who are in
the book of life of the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, will be saved. Those whose names are not in the book of life
would be judged according to the works that they have done which is in the other
books. That is why unless you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you
cannot be saved. This is a key point in chapter 20. We saw that all those that didn’t have their
names in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire. God has an
incinerator for this universe: The Lake of Fire. We don’t know where it is.
However, think of the sun that gives us light on this planet. There are many
other stars that have burnt out their fuel according to scientists. The sun is
a star also. It is still burning and according to the calculations of
scientists this sun will burn out its fuel also, and when it burns out its fuel
it will be like a liquid lake of fire. It may not produce any more light but it
will still be heated up inside. We just know that there will be a time when the
sun will burn out its fuel.
There are so many objects in the universe
that are just as hot that could be called lakes of fire. Don’t take what God is
saying lightly. You don’t want to go to that lake of fire, so seek Jesus Christ
the only hope. Only those names who are in the book of Life will escape the
Let’s take a look at some of the parables
in the book of Matthew which have to do with the
Matthew chapter 13: 24-31 says: “Another
parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a
man which sowed good seed in his field: 25
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went
his way. 26 But when the blade was
sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and
said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then
hath it tares? 28 He said unto
them, an enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that
we go and gather them up? 29 But he
said, nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with
them. 30 Let both grow together
until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather
ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather
the wheat into my barn”.
This parable shows that there will be a
separation of the good from the bad. Here is the interpretation of the parable
in verse 36: “36 Then Jesus sent the
multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him,
saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37 He answered and said unto them, He that
soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38
The field is the world…”
“The good seed are the children of the kingdom.
The tares are the children of the wicked one.”
This means that all these people that refuse to
accept Christ as their Lord and savior, believing they have their own religion,
and they still do their sins (murder, fornication, etc.) The Bible says they
are tares in the field. If they never repent they belong to the wicked one,
Satan, that planted them on this planet earth. It goes on to say in verse 39: “The
enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and
the reapers are the angels. 40 As
therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the
end of this world. 41 The Son of
man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all
things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing
of teeth. 43 Then shall the
righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears
to hear, let him hear.”
In Revelations chapter 20 all those that have not their names written in
the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. My friend, don’t take this
As the
parable said, there will be gnashing of teeth when the tares are cast into the
lake of fire. Verse 43 of Matthew chapter 13 said: “Then shall the righteous shine
forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” How will the righteous shine forth? The book
of Revelations chapter 21 tells us.
Revelations 21:1: “And I saw a new heaven and a new
earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was
no more sea”. The new earth could be this planet that we are standing
upon! God can renovate it and there will be no more sea. Or, God can polish a
new planet from the solar system, which will have its own new sky. When the
Bible mentions a new heaven it is actually talking about the sky. The sky that
we see when we look up and see clouds is the heaven we are talking about. God can take a new planet large enough for
all the human race that has ever been. For example, Mars and Jupiter are much
bigger than the earth. Science has shown that the planet Jupiter is many times
bigger than Earth and could take all human race that has ever been since Adam.
They don’t know whether the planet is habitable, but God can renovate any
planet and bring it to an orbit of the sun that will make it habitable. The Bible says there will be no more sea. If
it is not this earth that is renovated, it can be a new planet that will have
no waters as sea. There may be rivers but no sea. The mass of water we call sea
right now, God will do away with, either by producing a new planet or taking
the waters out of this earth.
Verse 2: “And I John saw the holy city, new
Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for
her husband”.
As we saw
in chapter 19, blessed are they who are invited to the marriage supper of the
Lamb. Who is the bride of the Lamb? The city called new Jerusalem, which will
descend from heaven. This means it will be a miniature planet that God is
building and he is going to make it come down upon this earth, or upon the new
earth or he is going to suspend it like the moon is suspended above the earth.
The bible says it is going to descend, either come closer to the earth or land
upon the earth itself, and it will be a city. That would be amazing.
This earth we are standing upon is just a big
rock floating in space. The moon that we see shining light to us every night is
also a big rock, not as big as the earth, but floating also in space around the
earth. Science has been able to find out that not too far from earth in a belt
they call asteroids belt, are some smaller rocks that could be several miles wide,
floating in space. Some Scientists believe there could have been a planet that
was broken to pieces and they are just rocks floating around in the Asteroid
Belt. Just think about that! God can take one of those small fragments that are
floating in space, which can be as big as 1500 miles wide, and make a city on
it and the city would have foundation. God can bring that city down to the
earth like an asteroid that would fall on earth, but instead of falling, the
asteroid would be guided.
God is
mightier than man, my friend! We are dealing with something bigger than us. We can’t even get out of this
planet but God is everywhere.
The Bible says the Lord Jesus Christ went up into
the sky. This should show to us that the transporting of people is already in
the universe which God already ordained. We humans are so primitive that we cannot
get to that state yet.
Verse 3-5: “And I heard a great voice out of
heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell
with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them,
and be their God. 4 And God shall
wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither
sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things
are passed away. 5 And he that sat
upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me,
Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
God is
going to make all things new. This shall take place no matter how long it takes,
wait for it. For you to be a member of this kingdom that we are talking about, accept
Jesus as your Lord and savior today.
“He that overcometh and keepeth my words to
the end to him shall I give power over the nations.” All the promises are for you if you overcome.
What are you to overcome? Temptations! Temptations to deny Christ in time of persecution. Do not try to protect your
life by yourself. He that tries to keep his life shall lose it saith the Lord.
He that loseth his life shall keep it to life everlasting. We that are
following Christ must be ready to lay down our lives for his cause.
We must
resist all temptations! Someone wants you to commit adultery? Resist it!
They’re trying to steal your life. Someone is trying to make you commit
fornication? Resist it! Someone offers you a bribe? Resist it! They are trying
to steal your soul. The Bible says “what does it profit a man if he gains the
whole world and lose his soul”? There is nothing you can get in this
world that can compare to the
Verse 6- : “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha
and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of
the fountain of the water of life freely. 7
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he
shall be my son. 8 But the fearful,
and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake
which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Now the second death, is when they go to the
lake of fire. All those things that God says are abomination will go there. You must be washed
by the blood of Jesus Christ. For you were formerly like this but you have been
bought with a price. Do not let those temptations pull you back into sin. The
wages of sin is death. Christ has already paid for your sin. Do not go back
into sin anymore. All those people that live in sin are going to be in the
second death.
Verse 9 : “And there came unto me one of the seven
angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked
with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.”
Verse 10: “And he carried me away in the spirit to a
great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy
Why did God call it
Verse 11: “Having the glory of God: and her light was
like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal”
These descriptions of the city show that God made this city with what we human
beings value most. What do we value? We value precious stones. We value gold as
important. God says if that is what they value, that is what I am going to use
to build the city. God himself will dwell in that city. God said that the
tabernacle of God will be with men. God is going to make his headquarters on
earth where we human beings are. Isn’t that amazing? That is why he is inviting
you to come and enjoy this glory with him. He is calling you. Jesus said, Come
unto me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.
Verse
12-13: And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates
twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve
tribes of the children of Israel: 13
On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates;
and on the west three gates”.
God chose the seed of Abraham, He chose the
twelve tribes of
Verse 14: “And the wall of the city had twelve
foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb”.
The foundation of the city has 12 layers of
rocks. The name of each Apostle is on each foundation. The Lord Jesus Christ
built the city.
Verse 15-16: “And he that talked with me had a
golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the
length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed,
twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are
equal.”
12000
furlongs is approximately 1500 miles. Think of a city that is 1500 miles wide.
Even big cities like
17 “And he
measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to
the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 18
And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold,
like unto clear glass. 19 And the
foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious
stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a
chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20
The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth,
beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the
twelfth, an amethyst. 21 And the
twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the
street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord
God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for
the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved
shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory
and honour into it. 25 And the
gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory
and honour of the nations into it. 27
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither
whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in
the Lamb's book of life”.
You
must repent and accept Jesus as your Lord and savior. This is the glorification
of mankind that God has revealed to us. A new heaven and new earth! The

That is one sure way we can send our money ahead of us to heaven. The Lord said: "Lay not up for yourselves
treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break
through and steal: But lay up for
yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and
where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there
