Rev. 16
The book of Revelation
and the book of Genesis are both authored by God. The 1st and the last.
He told us how it started, and He told us how it all going to end.
Rev.16:1 “And I heard a great voice out of the
temple saying to the seven angels, go your ways and pour the vials of the wrath
of God upon the earth”.
I said after John was
shown these things he wanted to bow down and worship the angel that showed him
these. The angel told him “see thou do it not, for I am one of your brethren”.
It means, these seven
angels are not the Spirit-angels that we think of. Being clothed in white raiment means they are Saints. Saints of God are used to do this. In Rev.11:3, God said “I will give
power unto my two witnesses…”.
I said those two witnesses are human beings of course.
I believe they will be
Moses and Elijha. God is going to set
them loose upon the earth so that the world can see the wrath of the
prophets. When a man of God has been
preaching for long upon the earth, and men are not changing, they have the
power and the right to condemn those that refuse to change.
Remember the story of
Elijah the prophet. After he had prayed
and prayed for a long time, perhaps praying and preaching for Israel to repent,
he came one day before the King, and said “there shall be no rain nor dew in
these years except by my word”.
They didn’t believe
him perhaps they would have said, “who is he to say that. Is he God?”
That exactly is what
people will say today if a minister of God goes before a King and declare such
thing.
But Elijah went and
hid himself and for three years there was no rain. Then they began to look for him.
In those days Jezebel
the queen had her own prophets that seemed to prophesy by their religious
demons.
Jezebel would have asked
them to call for rain, “if one prophet stopped the rain, can’t one of you
other prophets call the rain back?”
When they couldn’t do
anything, they began to look for this Prophet Elijah. In the end, Elijah came back of himself and called back
rain.
In the same way, God
said he is going to use this same Elijah, and Moses, to bring punishment upon
the world of the ungodly. They will
have power to seal up heaven that it rain not in the days of their prophecy.
These two witnesses
have the power to seal heaven, and to smite the earth with plagues as often as
they will. God is going to unleash the
wrath of two prophets upon the earth to judge the world of the ungodly.
This is what you see
also in this chapter 16 of Revelation that the 7 angels that have the vials are
appointed Saints of the Most High God.
The bible has already said the Saints shall judge the world. We shall even judge angels.
V.2: “And the first went and poured his
vials upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men
which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.”
Those who have the
mark of the beast are suddenly afflicted by sores. Maybe cancerous disease.
V.3: “ And the
second angel poured out his vial upon the sea, and it became as the blood of a
dead man:
and every
living soul died in the sea.”
You may say, “why do
we have to judge the sea?” What you have to know is that the sea itself is
wider and larger than the dry land. Is
it just the fishes and the animals in the sea?
If those are destroyed, there will be a lot of stink. Dead fish everywhere that will make all the harbors
of the world stink. That is a wrath in
itself - when all the harbors are
stinking of dead sea-animals. The
beaches and the sea-coasts will stink to live in. Not to mention the shipping and the sailing that goes on worldwide. It may include all the ocean liners. There
are thousands of people in those ocean liners and hundreds of those ocean
liners all over the world. If the dead
in the sea include all the people in the ships and ocean liners, that will be
catastrophic.
V.4: “The third angel poured out his vial
upon the rivers and the fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard
the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous O Lord which art, and wast and
shall be, because thou hast judged thus”.
The angel poured his
vial upon the fountains of waters and the drinking waters are contaminated,
turned to blood. There is salt water in the sea and drinking water in the springs
and rivers. Both are being judged
because of the sin of mankind. That is why we are calling men to repentance,
because the only God that can stop this trouble is the Lord Jesus whom we are
calling you to come and worship.
You will see at the
end of the chapter that the people on earth by the time this thing is taking
place have become stone hearted. They
have their mindset and cannot repent anymore.
The day of repentance is gone by then.
You that read this, know that your day of repentance is now, to accept the
Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior and call upon the name of the Lord to save
you. Ask Jesus Christ into your heart
to save you from the wrath to come. The
time of repentance is today. Today is the day of salvation. By the time these
plagues are being poured upon earth, the population on earth cannot
repent. Only God make people
repent. But God has given up those
people that are the population on earth by the time of these 7 last vials of
the wrath of God. The Holy Ghost is the
one who make people repent. The Holy
Ghost is still on earth pleading with you today to come unto Jesus the ark of
safety. Come to Jesus and he will wash
your sins away and make you holy and turn your eyes and your feet towards
heaven. Today is your day of salvation.
When the wrath of God
is poured upon the earth there will be no more repentance.
The people that are
left are completely locked-in to their wickedness and their hatred of God. They cannot be changed anymore. They know there is a God, they just refuse
to accept it. God said he will give
them over to uncleaness. While your
heart is still tender, today is when you can repent and come to Jesus. Soon God will harden the hearts of those who
won’t obey the gospel so that they might be destroyed.
God hardened Pharaoh’s heart and he was
destroyed.
V.8: “And the fourth angel poured out his
vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and
blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they
repented not to give him glory.”
See what I just said?
They couldn’t repent anymore. They blame God for making the sun very hot.
The sun is far away
and it is noted to be nuclear fire with damaging rays that God protects us from
receiving. When God will do this, the
rays will come through and men are scotched with fire. It will not be in equatorial region only,
but worldwide. Instead of people to
repent, they will not. God is no more
calling men’s attention. Today is the
day of repentance. God is calling your
attention right now, to accept Jesus today.
Jesus is the only Savior. Your
religion will not save you. Mohammed
will not save you. Buddah will not save
you. Only Jesus can save. Save you from what? Save you from the wrath to come.
Turn to Jesus today,
and accept him as your Lord and Savior.
Begin to read and live by the bible.
Jesus died to redeem you.
By the time this plagues will come upon the
world, God will have given men over to their punishment.
God could have wiped
out the world at one blow. But no, the
people on earth will have to feel the pain gradually, perhaps some may still
come to their senses. If God wants to
destroy the earth, He could do it in one night, and no one wakes up from sleep. He chose not to do that. Why did he use flood in the days of
Noah? The rain fell for 40 days as the
water gradually rose and covered them all.
God is patient. God is calling
you. He waited 6000 years for man to
repent.
When
the waters are turned to blood, men will give their explanation, some
pollutions. They will not think about
it. When you compare the plagues, they
are similar to the plagues brought upon Egypt.
I tell you frankly, all these verses will be explained off by the
scientists of that generation. They will find explanation to sooth their
conscience. God said he is the one
doing it. But the world will not
believe it. They will find some
physical explanation for the plagues.
V.10: “And
the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom
was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain”.
What does that mean to say the seat of the beast
is full of darkness? Ungodliness! Immorality! Wickedness of all kind
prevailing! Occult activities! Everyone out for himself! Anarchy! Chaos! Any
uncontrollable evil vices you can think of will be in the world and in the
governments of the world. “The Spirit
of truth and reason no longer restraining them.” The bible said “He that
letteth will let until he be taken out of the way, then shall the man of sin be
revealed”.(2 Thes. 2:7-8) The Holy
Ghost is currently restraining the devil.
Take this nation America for example.
The force of the Christian fundamentals and the preaching of the gospel
are still spiritually restraining the ungodly agendas and the homosexual
agendas and the abortion agendas. When
the Spirit is withdrawn, they will have no resistance anymore so that the cup
of their iniquity can be quickly full, and God can bring these prophecies to
pass.
(2 Thes.2:11) “And for this cause God shall
send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie; That they all might be
damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
V.12: “And
the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the
water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be
prepared.”
You wonder why a whole vial of plague was used
to dry up the water of river Euphrates!
Whatever that represents we know that its
talking about there’s going to be a war – the war that will end it all. God was making the whole world to prepare
for that war. God’s finger will gather
them as it was written in the book of Zechariah that “I will gather all nations
against Jerusalem to battle”. (Zec.14:1). Prelude to
that is what you see right here.
V.13 “And I saw three unclean spirits like
frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast,
and out of the mouth of the false prophet.”
Now the dragon, the beast and the false prophet
are all representing nations. The beast
we have described represents the European community, the false prophet
represents the western community (the Americas). The dragon we have never really talked about, always assuming to
be Satan himself. However in the symbol
of nations, just think about it: China
uses the dragon as their symbol! This
dragon will represent the Oriental nations, led by China. (The kings of the
east).
These three frogs coming out of the mouth of
these beasts are actually words. Just
like Christ said “the word I speak unto thee, they are spirits and they are
life!” Similarly those frogs are
spirit - words from those beasts – nations:
Some policy declarations, some threats, some boasting, are all words. And the bible said they go forth to rally the
nations for war. What can do this
better than some policy declarations and threats from world leaders?
V14: “For
they are the spirits of devils working miracles, which go forth unto the kings
of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great
day of God Almighty.”
Whatever are the words
that came out of their mouth, they are sending messages to their allies that
they have to fight for their own cause, gathering of the nations for war rather
than for peace. Those words are
spirits, because when some people speak, demons actually gave the words to
their mouth to say, and other people react to the words according to the
spirits in them. The kingdom of
darkness is full of striving demons.
Some demons start the confrontational words, and the other demons go
about causing hearers to react negatively to what they hear, to start a
strive. That is what the bible is
saying. Those demons come out to arouse
all the nations to prepare for war.
V15: “Behold I come as a thief.”
Here Christ is warning
the believers now! “Blessed is he
that watcheth and keepeth his garment, lest he walk naked and they see his
shame”.
Righteousness is the
garment of the saints. As the world
gets darker and darker, it is harder to keep ones righteousness. The temptation is to want to be like them,
to want to vex and avenge one-self of the evildoers around. But Christ is warning the believers to keep
their garment lest they walk naked. The
Lord’s word in the gospel also said “because iniquity shall abound, the love
of many shall wax cold. But he that
shall endure to the end shall be saved.”
As you see the world forming the shape
that has been prophesied, the antichrist coming to view, you as a believer must
keep your garment spotless. Keep your
garment pure! If you are still around
during the time, better be ready because the Lord is coming soon. He said he is coming as a thief. Christ will take his own suddenly before he
can pour the judgment upon the world.
Keep your garment, your holiness, your righteousness intact. You walk naked when unbelievers can see that
you are just as angry as they are, just as vengeful as they are, and so on.
Don’t let the affairs
of this world take your eyes away from Jesus.
As the world goes darker and darker a lot of people will not be
interested to do good to anybody, because of wickedness that is rampant. But Christ is saying we are still to keep
our righteousness intact. He that shall
endure to the end shall be saved. Trust
God! “Blessed is he that keepeth his
garment lest he walks naked and they see his shame”. That anger, that bitterness, and wrath. Throw it away! Trust in
the Lord Jesus Christ. Those anger and
bitterness or wrath can make someone turn into a rage with the
unbelievers. Someone says something to
you that offends you, before you know it you may begin to fight also. That is like losing your garment. You are expected to be a saint of the Most
High. The bible said, “bless and curse
not!” Have self-control, which is the
fruit of the Spirit. Keep that self
control so that your garment will be kept.
There will be a lot of temptations to jump into the mud with them and
agitate. But keep your garment of patience, mercy, holiness, self-control,
forgiveness, and all the other fruits of the Spirit, so that you do not walk
naked and they see your shame.
V.16: “And he
gathered them together in a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”
V.17: “And the
seventh angel poured out his vial in the air, and there came a great voice out
of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done”.
And there were
voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as
was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so
great. And the great city was divided
into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in
remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness
of his wrath.
And every
Island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
And there fell
upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent:
and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague
thereof was exceeding great.”
The last vial was
poured into the air, it is a mighty blast!
You see the effect of these vials in the physical world, it is actually
started in the spirit world. This is what we are saying. Whether it was poured by the angel into the
water, the effect of it is what?
Blood! All waters turn to blood
in the physical. Whether it was poured
by the angel into the sea, the effect of it:
people and animals just die in the sea.
This last one is
poured into the air. There is a mighty
blast, and the bible said hailstones came down and fell upon the people on the
earth. Hailstones, heavy stones of
ice. What could cause that in the
physical? Maybe there are Nuclear bombs
that will be exploded in the air that the final effect of it will cause a cataclysmic
hailstones worldwide! Nuclear bombs are
exploded in the air to be effective.
The finger of God will make them do it.
By the time they explode it in the air, things will happen beyond their
imagination. Hailstones may be part of
the aftermath, radiations or earthquakes may be part of the effect. The finger of God will cause ungodly men to
destroy themselves. The bible said,
“the cities of the nations fell”. It’s
not just one city. All high-rising
buildings in all major cities of the world fell. That is a big quake, perhaps from a nuclear weapon or several
nuclear weapons at the same time. All
of the big nations have the nuclear weapons, and as they blow themselves in
split seconds apart, they never imagine the extent of it to be such that “the
cities of the nations fell”. The
prophecy said it will take place. It’s just a matter of time. They are equipped for this now.
But how will you escape? The bible said “come to Jesus right
now!” The sixth vial gathered them for
world war, and the seventh vial revealed the type of destruction, nuclear blast
that they will be engulfed in. Perhaps
from their nuclear blasts, a torrential wild-wind will go forth that will
destroy all high-rising buildings of the world! Scientists know already that Nuclear blasts can effect
these. But how will you escape? Only if you are already with Jesus in
heaven. Only if you accept Jesus Christ
as your only Savior, and walk in Christ from now.
Christ said, “pray
that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come
upon the world and to stand before the son of man.” That is the commandment of the Lord before
he went to heaven. Pray that you want
to escape all these things, because we believe it is our generation that will
witness all these end-time events.
Begin to prepare for
the Lord’s coming. I pray that the Lord
will quicken your hearts to prepare for the Lord’s coming. Amen!
